was founded by Scott Haga in 2012. As a 6° Black Belt and Shotokan Karate expert, Scott's dedication to the craft is unparalleled. With a teaching tenure spanning more than a decade, he imparts invaluable wisdom to students of all ages and skill levels.
Scott's journey of mastery began under the guidance of esteemed senseis like Ray Dalke and Davis Blair. With over 40 years of Shotokan Karate practice, he honed his skills alongside renowned masters such as Hidetaka Nishiyama and Masatoshi Nakayama.

Hey there, I'm Scott Haga, the owner, operator, and chief instructor at our academy. For me, martial arts has been a lifelong journey of growth, discipline, and empowerment.
I've had the privilege of guiding students from their very first steps on the mat to achieving the prestigious rank of 3rd-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. Witnessing their progress and seeing them reach their full potential is what drives me every single day.
My training is about mastering techniques as well as making a positive impact on the lives of individuals. I've had the opportunity to work with children facing behavioral challenges and through martial arts, I’ve helped them build confidence, focus, and resilience to overcome obstacles.
My own journey in martial arts began at the age of 16, and since then, I've dedicated myself to continuous learning and teaching. So, whether you're a beginner looking to start your martial arts journey or a seasoned practitioner seeking to refine your skills, I'm here to help you discover the incredible potential within you.
